A even, well muscled line of 40 bulls were offered with a 100% clearance to average $8807.00.  A strong start to the sale was further cemented with Lot 3 Lotus Legion selling to Ben Monie of Thornleigh Herefords for $14000.00.

Top price was Lot 6 Lotus L0012 (HPR) selling to J & L Galwey of Stuarts Creek, Roma Qld for $16000.00.  L0012 was the heaviest bull in the draft with impressive EBV's.  Stud interest was evident with 10 studs registering but top end commercial beef producers were not going to be out done.  Repeat buyers B & M Thompson took home 3 bulls, La Palma Grazing 6 bulls, Townview P/L, R Maloney, Aveliem P/L, R & B Frazer, Kingsgate Station 2 bulls each.  Bulls went to Vic, Qld and southern & northern NSW.

"The draft of bulls were even, showed plenty of muscle and depth.  There was meat from start to finish.  We are naturally pleased with this years sale results and the feedback from people about the eveness of the bulls.

Agents for the Sale were Colin Say & Co, Glen Innes and Mike Wilson Stud Stock, Armidale.  Auctioneer Shad Bailey from Colin Say & Co controlling the bidding.

The Holliss family thank all who attended, purchasers and underbidders.
