2021 has started off with over 5000km's travelled looking at herds & bulls. We've been fortunate to secure our selections so far. Weaning for the year is done, a tremendous drop of calves and we now prepare for calving & our annual bull sale.	July 2020, calving has started, plenty of impressive calves by new sires.	Mawarra Hi Card has arrived. He'll have time to settle in before the work commences in Sept.
March 2020 GP Pedro has arrived and we are happy to say he's even better in the flesh. Look forward to picking out his females for joining later in the year.	Lotus Prophet 2020 Due to Corvid 19 L. Prophet had limited show outings but impressive results; Supreme Hereford Exhibit - Glen Innes Show 2020 Jnr Champion British Exhibit - Millmerran Show 2020.	Graham Asterix has settled in very well at Lotus. We saw this bull back in February and were fortunate to purchase him and Andtravern Nickel at the 2019 Wodonga National show and sale.
Many rural families have achieved this, we thought to do a stubbie cooler to mark the event of a 100years.	2018 Yarram Unique to join our sire's list. Impressed us with his length, muscle and overall presence.	First calves of our new sires Warringa Kakadu, Yallaroo King, Yallaroo Kestrel and Talbalba Advance K134 have arrived. They are impressive and we are looking forward to their develpment. Our AI program last year using semen from older bulls Tummel Jubilant 10, Lowanna Nuffield, Lyonbank Krackajack and not so old bulls Yallaroo Handsome, Y. Kilkenny & Y. Jackal have produced great progeny also.
QCL (20/7/17) THE Holliss family’s “no passengers” approach to cattle breeding lies at the heart of its highly efficient, productive Hereford operation. Tony and Barbara Holliss and their sons Ace and Cameron operate Lotus Herefords, which is located on Old Farm about 40km south east of Glen Innes, NSW. The picturesque 2000 hectare eastern fall property joins both the spectacular Guy Fawkes and Warra national parks. Water from the Sara River which runs across Old Farm ultimately	11th May 2017 Lotus Herefords welcomes new outstanding stud sire prospect Burrawang Laconic. A tidy set of EBV's and soft coat, great muscle pattern combined with a solid and sound structure met our requirements. Since arriving home and settling in, he has impressed visitors and we all look forward to his first progeny in 2018.	28th Feb 2017 Lotus Legion Grand Champion Hereford Bull, Lotus Leroy Reserve Junior Champion.
04th Feb 2017 Lotus Legion(H) had a successful day at his first ever showing at the 2017 Stanthorpe Show. Placing 1st in the British Breeds section Bull 16-20mths, he continued on be awarded Supreme Stud Exhibit for 2017 across British, Euro & Tropical breeds.	30 June 2015 Very humbled to have been nominated and then win this award.	23rd Mar 2013 Lotus Gascoyne G50 Best Hereford Exhibit ( Canada Cup ) Grand Champion Bull Junior Champion Bull Lotus Game On G12 , 2nd in class to Lotus Gascoyne G50 *L Gascoyne & L Game On winner of Pair of Hereford Bulls under 24mths.
